Pros

-Worked from home - Flexible hours - Field Managers and Regional Directors are great at managing numbers - Great rewarding work

Cons

- High stress - Constantly pushing Investigators to do more with less mistakes - Low pay (10% lower and the national average for Background Investigators - Very low pay raises with level moves (Investigator promotions) - Not enough PTO time - Field Managers and Regional Directors are terrible at leading people I started with this company as Keypoint Government Solutions (KGS) and then it became Perspecta and I resigned a couple of days prior to the company being bought by Peraton. After 26 years of military service and some part-time civilian jobs over the years this is probably the worst job I've ever had in my life due to poor mid-level leadership and management. I was told by the recruiting department I can negotiate my salary in lieu of receiving health benefits. After starting the employment I was rudely told by the HR department this was not true and I had to start at the bottom just like everyone else and work my way up. However I was told in lieu of giving direct cash payments in in lieu of selecting medical benefits the company would make quarterly deposits into my 401K, but after 3 years I was never once compensated for not selecting medical benefits. I talked to other military retirees that worked for KGS/Perspecta and they all said they had the same issues I did and they all quit

Pros

None to offer at this time

Cons

I left a after 35+ years, forced out essentially after a contract loss. No attempts by any leadership to retain senior and tenured talent, in stead an attitude of don’t let the door hit you in the arse. This is after the company found a loophole to only pay employees a sub benefit/ severance plan (less) thanks peers on other contracts in the company. Not an ethical place to work for. I joined the competition and look forward to beating them in the market.

Pros

bi-weekly paycheck , some good people at the ground level that does the day to day work.

Cons

A lot of the talented individuals within the Communications Sector was let go and questionable management put in place. The Communications Sector is not a very diverse business unit. The Communications Sector has been completed destroyed by current leadership. It appears getting rid of key personnel was more important than growing the business.
