Pros

Freedom to influence direction of work in various mission areas.

Cons

Low contract/mission/corporate funding leads to making do with ends meet. Poor performance of corporate IT systems leads to detrimental negative impacts to employee motivation & productivity. In short, the hardware is bad. Lack of corporate data science strategy & structure.

Pros

Somewhat flexible schedule. Working from home was nice.

Cons

Pay was absolute trash. Very rarely would I have a report go through that wasn't sent back. No consistency with reviewers. Deadlines were not reasonable with the huge workload.
