Pros

Nice people, very good connections with DARPA programs, flexible work-life balance

Cons

Deep learning based AI/ML is viewed as an option on many/most programs, but not given the priority it deserves in terms of roadmapping, internal resources, proposal development, internal R&D, and company posture. Also, proposal writing/winning seems to be elevated in importance much more than strong contributions to projects.

Pros

Peraton is on the front lines in serving federal, state and local governments. Communication from corporate is timely and transparent. Engagement occurs at all levels and the company seems to really value their key resources, the employees.

Cons

Growth over the last year has created some confusion among different accounts. The company takes this seriously and has made wonderful strides in communicating the transition activities from some of their latest acquisitions.
