Pros

Pay recently increased, I have a great team and manager but it's not enough anymore.

Cons

-your mental health will decline, that's a guarantee - ever changing processes, impossible to keep up - management promises big but has never (at least in my 4 years) upheld their end - poor inconsistent reviewing system - feels like you never get ahead or accomplish anything - overwhelmed and overworked

Low Raises

Pros

Long-term contract so job is secure.

Cons

Company-wide email told everyone average of 4% raise. I got less which doesn’t help morale and I already felt underpaid. Inflation and housing has jumped so much, there’s no way I can afford to buy a new house right now as a mid-level engineer. Company also promotes flexible work location but that’s really up to your boss and most want you in the office daily.

Not for everyone..

Pros

Its a job, work from home, adequate benefits.

Cons

Low salaries and raises, no bonus plans, little opportunity, endless mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, cost cutting, layoffs, turnover, policy/procedure changes, poor communication, and heavy workloads.
