Pros

This company is gaining momentum and you can feel the excitement at the Peraton office. This is the place to be if you are passionate about protecting and promoting freedom around the world, enjoy working in a collaborative environment with really talented people, and want to be empowered to make a difference in a budding new culture.

Cons

There has been some disruption to the work as the company moves to new internal systems; however these are just bumps in the road to a bright future. I'm looking forward to the efficiencies that will be gained from our IT system upgrades and process standardization.

Pros

These folks know exactly what they are doing. They set high standards, and consistently deliver. Their project expectations and planning is excellent. The top level management folks are extremely smart and have a great sense of vision and planning. Excellent culture, smart peers, strong benefits, career growth opportunities

Cons

It's also hard to get to know anyone outside your immediate contract because teams are client based.

Growing Fast

Pros

Great benefits: 401K, HSA options, flex and 9/80 schedules, rotating off Fridays, everyone starts with 3 weeks vacation. Employees are valued and often surveyed to provide input into major decisions that will affect the entire company. The smaller company allows us to be more flexible and agile with process changes than we were under Harris Corporation

Cons

The company is still in its infancy which can be good and bad. Good because there are plenty of opportunities to help shape the future of the company, but bad because systems and processes are not mature. Work is very fast-paced with a heavy reliance on emails.
