Pros

After working for this company now for a year after it was initially ITT, ITT/MS, ITT/IS, Harris and now Peraton, I can easily say this company has little to offer other than heartache, headaches and heart attacks.

Cons

Long hours, low manning, low wages, low morale and constant changes that only betters the companies bottom line and not the mission or the people engaged with it. This is an investment deal and not a company from my eyes, and after working in the space industry for over 20 years, I have to say this is the bottom of the barrel.

Pros

None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Run away from this company and don’t look back!!!

Cons

After being offered the job it can be 6-12 months before your actual start date. Even then communication for onboarding is subpar. The virtual classroom training was okay but it didn’t match with the reality of the job. On the job training was good, but again, it did NOT match with the job. They forget to share things like important policies and KOI metric requirements and then blame you for not having the information management didn’t share. On the note, incompetent managers who obviously have never managed people in their lives. The management role is just one more step on their way up in the company and you are seen as a ring in that ladder to stepped on on their way up. Reviewers are completely inconsistent with what’s acceptable in the reports and what isn’t. And I don’t think it’s their fault either - again it’s poor policies and even poorer SOP’s with this place. Honestly, you’d be better working at ANY other agency. They only care about the bottom line so they can make profits, and not about their employees or completing the work correctly or with integrity.

Pros

You learn a great deal of skills and some people are nice. Benefits have improved.

Cons

Communication is terrible and management doesn't really care. Despite complaining about it nothing changes. The workload is excessive, with constant last minute projects with short a short time to do it. Expect to work long hours and have very little consideration for work and life balance. We are still cleaning up the mess of transitioning to a new accounting system within a third of the time it normally takes. Many people have left and there was a recent mass layoff of people. While we try and remain positive that it will improve there seems to be little light if any at the end of this tunnel!
