Pros
1. Work from home is provided sometimes but depends on several factors. 2. Events happen regularly. 3. Avg. hike is about 25-30% (earlier used to be more now it's down to this number) 4. Mostly friendly employees. (Not all but mostly)
Cons
1. Micro management - Some seniors(not all) will poke you from time to time and keep close watch on your movements. Will note down the time you come and leave the office. 2. Not every employee has the same privileges - Depends on your relations with management. For ex. one wouldn't get the opportunity to work from home whereas someone in the same position would do. (Same policy for every employee but only on papers) 3. The salary you get will be the same as other employees doesn't matter if you work harder, sit more hours, are on different projects, are in different team, have better ratings than others on the annual feedback...nothing matters. But yes heard some get more due to their good relations with upper management. 4. QAs earn more than Developers - Not everywhere you get to see this but the org has more QA workforce than any other domain and some get paid more than Devs, Good for QA though. 5. Unnecessary sessions/trainings 6. Not too technically sound colleagues. (feels like this is the easiest org to get in as many lack basic technical skills required) 7. Not firing the employees even though they don't do the quality work. (maybe to keep billing the client). But this impacts the other team members. Safe job, ain't it? 8. 2 years bond if you join as a fresher. 9. 3 months notice period. 10. Bonus is part of the salary and is given at your year end cycle. (Bonus is not provided if you leave the org before the cycle)
