Pros
When we got acquired no one was laid off, and I still got to work with my former great co-workers.
Cons
The company grows primarily through acquisitions of other companies. I felt compelled to leave a year or so after my former company got acquired due to HR changes/benefit changes and just more red tape in general. Some company decisions also now felt more motivated by the whims of higher ups instead of what was best for the workers and the company as a whole.
