Shockingly toxic

Pros

Remote work for some positions still possible, although this is currently being reversed.

Cons

Other recent contributors have already said it: - Shockingly incompetent Executive Leadership Team. - Decision making is impossible. Nothing, big or small, can ever happen without the CEO's personal approval. - Extremely toxic work environment. - No D&I. Everyone is running away.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits, lots of opportunities to earn overtime. Can come to work on weekends still under the influence of alcohol and no one minds, in fact they laugh about it.

Cons

They promise you the world but never deliver, workplace bullying is rife, the union is useless, management will harrass you if you say no to weekend overtime. Poor quality instruments with outdated technology and Qc is rubbish. Poor quality parts used in production.

Pros

Colleagues - I've never encountered any unfriendliness in my time at PerkinElmer. People are always willing to muck in and help when you need it. Flexibility - Remote working opportunities and work hour flexibility is a plus.

Cons

Where to start... As other reviews state, PerkinElmer used to be a great and inspiring place to work. It's now sadly become the complete opposite. Management is quite frankly embarrassing and have absolutely no respect for their staff. People leaving the company left, right and centre and lost positions are never filled - the work is just handed to someone else to do (with no salary benefits or promotion of course)! Oh, and complete lack of diversity or women at the top with an all white, male C-suite.
