Pros

Made some lasting friendships. I got a paycheck every 2 weeks. The company was close to my house. Have I hit the 20 word minimum yet?????

Cons

How is this place still in business? Haven't seen new product innovations in over 10 years. PKI just buys up companies to expand their portfolio, because the fact is...all of the good scientists and technical people were laid off years ago! Oh and, the old boys running the show hate women. Look around. How many women are in management, and I'm talking outside of HR? Can't name any because there was always some less qualified, less educated man that actually got the promotion. If I had a dollar for each PMS or period joke told while I worked there I'd be a millionaire. One time I was supposed to travel for work, and my boss actually asked me if it would be ok with my husband. This was in 2010. Let that sink in. Race also appeared to be an issue. It didn't go unnoticed that Asians and blacks were always the first to go come layoff time.

Pros

There is not much too say about pros except it can be very relaxed if you are salary when it comes to the hours you put in.

Cons

Poor pay and benefits. Also very little room for advancement.

Pros

Decent PTO. Pay was once competitive but has slipped off especially in MA where the economy is solid. Some flexibility in work schedule but even that is being restricted

Cons

Upper management is awful. Out of of touch, arrogant, uninformed, and pennywise/pound foolish. They get something set in their minds and act on it, such as acquisitions that have been a disaster, yet the responsible parties get promotions. Execs clearly paid on margin and cost savings and not on revenue growth. Employees are generally miserable. No leadership, only micro managing. VP's spend all of their time on blaming employees and analyzing numbers.
