Good benefits, I liked and miss the people. I got the opportunity to do some interesting work there.

Cons

Spending to much time writing reports and presentations. This time would be better spent working in the lab. Conflicts between instrument division and reagent division. Instrument Division wants to sell it's high margin products. Reagent division wants to sell their products. Combining instruments and reagent doesn't work well. New acquisitions watch for layoffs. it is a portfolio company, that keeps buying others and turn around and then sell it , very unstable co , no R and D just copy and paste and when push come to shove they will look for another small co to buy and use their intellect,

Fairly solid company. Many intelligent engineers and some really great employees. Commitment to education is admirable. Great field service team. Warm and friendly working environment.

Cons

Lot's of red tape make getting things done that much harder. Very little innovation despite marketing claims.
