Not a good firm for experienced architects

Pros

A few of the leaders make an effort to treat people equally. Mentoring efforts used to be outstanding (not anymore). Flexible hours.

Cons

Favoritism exists at the top level (CEO, MP and P). Easy to become associate and even senior associate. After that, it is all about who likes who. Performance is irrelevant. Firm lost many good people because of this. Lots of APs and Ps who are low performer but good talker.

Pros

The very expensive health insurance is, at least, very comprehensive.

Cons

Everything. Bad leadership practices. Politics. Hierarchy. Dog-eat-dog mentality. This is definitely the worst place I’ve ever worked. They can’t recruit or retain good talent because of all the drama. Toxic and hostile environment.

Opportunity to work with talented individuals full of potential and passion.

Cons

Top heavy management structure, many expensive principals. Very little opportunity to work on different project types. The only "humans" they care about are clients. Read the mission statement. If you want to work for a firm that puts the clients needs above yours, this is the place for you.
