Poor Career Development initiatives, biased towards French employees. Not a very strong HR function. Most of the function work in Silos causing confusion

Pros

Good company culture still very paternalistic. A large company with still a "family feeling" to it. Good work-life balance. Great industry. Great people that are nice to work with for the most part.

Cons

Promotions are still based on who you know and the promotions are not very frequent. Most of the GMs are still from finance and lack real marketing experience - which is the real challenge of the company in order to generate internal growth with existing brands. A lot of trial and error in terms of digital and innovation strategy - lack a strong vision for each of the strategic brands.
