      Toxic Culture with the new takeover

      Decent pay for the area, especially starting, union

      Cons

      Management is very toxic and good ole boys. The new head plant manager has a Steve Jobs complex. “Do as we say or get out” type mentality. There are health hazards that are not being addressed. The outlook for this company in this facility is not good…

      Pros

      Decent pay with regular hours. Opportunities for career advancement are usually strong.

      Cons

      Forced return to office has brought morale so low. We were told to return to office 3 days to build collaboration. Now they’ve backtracked and forced only certain people back to office while others can stay home. Clearly it was not about collaboration.

      Pros

      Benefits are good, that is sadly the only thing I have to offer for this category.

      Cons

      Mandated every third weekend. Pay incentive to work on 2nd/3rd shift is not a lot compared to other companies(it was only $0.60/hour when I worked there in 2020). Not a lot of PTO and sick time compared to other companies. Breaks are very short. You get three total with the first being 10 minutes, second being 15 minutes, and the third being 10 minutes.
