Pros
Stable company, Stable business, Stable and Growing revenue stream. In the same core business for the last 120 years, Corporate headquarters at the same location for the last 120 years. Management seems to know what they are doing - company does not have a new strategy every year. No Management Consultants, no Mission Statements, No Reorganizations. Good Mid-Western work ethic.
Cons
Location unsuitable for most people from the coasts or big cities. Horrible winters in Western Michigan. Fiscally conservative company - no fancy offices or perks. No free coffee in the break rooms!
