Challenging work in some projects, really bad in others
Pros
I have been with Persistent for past 2 years. Very much depends on what team you work with. There some really good projects and some really bad ones. Work life balance also depends on the project you are in. Admin is very helpful. Transportation is an issue if you stay far away from the office. Some very good clients and talented people to work with.
Cons
Even if you work your a** out, what you'll get in 15% increment. If you challenge this, they'll tell you that Infosys has not given any increment. If you say I am talented, they'll tell you that we need PEOPLE and NOT TALENTED PEOPLE. The brand name of Persistent has spoiled lately. There is no employee retention policy. Extremely talented people are also treated like all others. Your increment and salary depends on the quota of promotions or budget allocated to your business unit.
