Pros

-Salary is competitive - Free Snacks -Motivated team members -Team is very inclusive and will welcome you -Learning new skills, processes, and SOPs ideal for new graduates to get in the industry

Cons

Management of this company is very very bias. You can tell who is favored and who isn't. Teams that are not favored, management will openly talk to each other of how horrible a job certain teams are doing. Extremely unprofessional. Management will demean you if you make a mistake and discourage you. They'll only notice if you, if your data does not yield their expected results. Hire-ups keep saying the company is moving forward, but revenue has not been met last couple of quarters.

Low Morale and a Bad Culture

Pros

The perks of small company feel. Everyone knows each other

Cons

This is the reality of this company and it's really a bad culture company. I am sharing this so investors can see what is really happening in this rotten culture Some issues with few Vps having too much power and abusing it. One has both Hr and finance so no complaints or positive culture change that is being heard or implemented Tons of anger issues from the top to its employees. Vps and execs are out of touch with reality. A top executive passed away from stress and bad culture. I wish they clear out the negativity and bring in new positive and progressive thinkers who can run this place better

Thank you for sharing your opinion. Since you have worked at Personalis for several years, you have seen and been a part of our growth. We have grown from about 60 employees at the beginning of 2017 to over 200 today. As we have been growing, we have also expanded and diversified our leadership team. Six executives have joined Personalis since 2019. They bring a wealth of experience and diverse ideas to our leadership team. I encourage you to reach out to me (Assoc Director, HR), or to any member of the leadership team, to discuss any specific concerns. At Personalis we welcome all employees’ ideas and suggestions and have a strict no-retaliation policy for those that raise concerns. We believe the company has a strong future and is a place where employees are treated with dignity, integrity, and respect.
