I enjoyed the hours, weekend shifts all day then the rest of the week free unless you ask for a week day. I loved the people I worked with, most vets were amazing, and the management was good too, it was very hard to leave this job because of the connections I made through it.

Cons

Not enough freedom for requesting days off, it always felt like you were letting down the team if you called in sick. We needed more training days, the new hires just kept getting more lax making it more work heavy for the supervisors.

Cons

Corporate sucks - they make the dumbest decisions that impact every clinic in a negative way when they have never been to one in their life It is a customer service job, so you will have to deal with angry/aggressive people Weekends are non-negotiable Long hours Stressful Very physical You get bit and scratched Very early clock-in time Prices increase every year, making customers increasingly angry The communication between management levels is almost non existent There's barely any room for growth in this company High turn-over rate
