Pros

You get paid very well for what you do without experience or higher education requirements. Opportunities to advance, learn, and achieve across the whole company. It can be JUST an 8 hr/day job, but there is opportunity to add more value than that.

Cons

Will start out working nights, possibly for 2-4 years. Seniority allows for moving to day shift hours. Management will hear ideas, but implementation falls short.

Pros

For young engineer it is a very good place to learn your profession.

Cons

The pay and benefits were average for the industry. They were always behind the curve in engineering technology i.e. CAD software.
