Pros

Good pay. Fun job. Fast paced and physical.

Cons

Politics dictate promotions. Second shift is rough on family life.

Pros

I can't really think of any good things to say about Peterbilt.

Cons

Safety is a joke. Maintenance department is worthless. Managers are relatively inexperienced in anything other than Peterbilt....no efficiency or ability to think 'outside the box'. Engineers are not involved with implementing efficient processes on production line- I saw no implementation of Six Sigma. Human Resources is a disaster and easily the most incompetent group of folks in the building.

Pros

The company had good set hours and very competitive pay and benefits. Pretty laid back atmosphere. The company also had really good management.

Cons

The company had some of the most immature co-workers I've seen in a workforce environment to date. It felt like I was going to middle school all over again.
