Purpose-led company experiencing growing pains
Pros
I've worked at Pharmavite for over a year and a half now, and in that time the company has consistently "walked the talk" when it comes to our purpose, what we stand for, employee safety, and willingness to try new things. I am privileged to be able to work with some of the best and brightest in the industry on a day to day basis, and I learn something new almost every day. Mentorship and coaching is available readily for those who are willing to seek it out. Work is challenging, but meaningful. Our senior leaders work hard to engage with employees at all levels and to be transparent about decisions.
Cons
Many other reviews have specifically called out turnover and change as negatives, so I will address that here. Yes, Pharmavite has gone through a significant amount of change strategically, organizationally, and operationally in order to position itself better against competition over the last couple of years. This has led to people resigning and some layoffs. While this is uncomfortable, I also think it is a natural consequence of making big changes to how a company wants to do things. We are bringing on many new people in newly created roles, and this creates some tension as we figure out how to fit all of the pieces of the puzzle together. Natural growing pains. If you are looking for huge company type of stability, fully fleshed out processes and standard procedures, then this is not the place for you. If you want a challenge, and you like to build and try new things, come join us!
