I worked at Pharos for over a year, in software engineering, and I must say that it was one of the best experiences in my life. The have a strong family-friendly environment, where fellow employees eventually feel more like family themselves, rather than just people you show up to work with and then leave. Management regularly puts forth the effort to engage employees and keep morale high. Kevin, moreover is a well read, well educated CEO, with an honest open door policy. All of this, and in the software engineering side of the business you'll also find some of the most innovative and motivated engineers in the industry. Some have even spent time at places like Google. Fred Schempp leads the technological vision for the company, and much like Kevin, keeps things honest, encourages discussions in the company white board room, and is the first to jump to the defense of those on his team. I've even heard of folks at Pharos being helped to find other jobs in the area when layoffs have occurred, before officially being let go. If you're considering a position at Pharos, I would recommend taking with the utmost confidence in your decision. Oh, and yes, the coffee is incredible.
