The management style leans heavily towards micromanagement, which can be stifling on a day-to-day basis. The frequent meetings demand repetitive information sharing, often requiring you to reiterate details from the previous day and document them meticulously in Salesforce, while simultaneously updating the team through chat. The ever-changing sales territories and BDR alignments add to the challenge, leaving limited time to construct and execute a comprehensive territory plan, particularly when compared to lengthy sales cycles. Phenom made the decision to embark on an aggressive hiring campaign, bringing on board a significant number of sales professionals in a short time. However, there seems to have been a lapse in assessing whether the existing opportunities were sufficient to accommodate such a large sales force. As a result, the laid off several members of each team following a few consecutive disappointing quarters, including some who were performing fairly well. Although the product speaks for itself once you captivate the right prospect, not all sales teams receive equitable support from the marketing and sales enablement departments.
