- Very strong initial technical training; a lot to learn and get your teeth into, in the first year or two. - Good comradery between the rank and file staff. - Fun activities done for charity.

Cons

- Excessive micro-management and overly-high expectations of productivity, which are heavily affected by factors outside staff control. - R&D has dried up and only offers niche products which are not good for mass-market selling, minimises sales' abilities to rapidly bring in additional business. - Progress is challenging unless individuals vacate senior positions; sometimes the best person is now promoted for senior roles.
