Pros
I worked as a college student interning at Philadelphia Insurance Companies. Management offered good direction and praise for good work. Compensation for an intern position was awesome as most companies just look for free labor from students looking for resume builders.
Cons
Sometimes job gets a bit tedious, entering information into a computer system for hours on end. Some cold-calling, but not necessarily a large part of the job.
