Pros

Work/life balance is the only pro

Cons

Accepting a position within this organization means you'll be met with, "PMI did nothing illegal" and "the policy changed after you asked the question" if you question anything. TSM's are the only branch within this organization that are held accountable - there is no responsibility or accountability within corporate leadership. Employees are discriminated against and told to leave if they don't like it. There are no protections for anyone within this organization. No one is paid a livable salary as a TSM. Noone can tell me what my salary ceiling is as a TSM. Noone can tell me what boxes I need to check get a high achieves, im told, "it's not really possible to hit, just go out and do your best. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you dont." There's no firm structure so they can do and say whatever they want. There is no training within this organization. We're expected to profit 5 billion this year and they increased the TSM yearly bonus by $300 - a slap in the face. This company undercuts by 10 grand when you look at starting salaries in other tobacco companies and ZYN is number 1 in america. Pmi is the amazon of tobacco. Proud to have the number one nicotine pouch in america but could care less about their employees financial security. Pmi is nothing more than a narcassistic, greedy tobacco company.

Cons

Goals and priorities are frequently shifting causing frustration amongst the team. Significant time and money are wasted due to changing priorities. The organizational structure is inefficient and causes communication issues. Upper leadership is disconnected from the actual operations. The culture is divided due to the presence of both Americans and expats who do not attempt to intermingle. Very cliquey. There is a lack of encouragement for a learning environment. The company culture is highly unsatisfactory. Leadership does not seek advice from individuals with market experience. Despite the stated goal of bringing in more Americans with expertise in the US market, their insights and input are not included in decision-making processes. The work environment is toxic due to a lack of trust and excessive micromanaging. Processes are overly complicated, leading to inefficiency and frustration. The company does not understand the US consumer or employee. Numerous unproductive meetings with no clear end goals
