      Great company to work for. highly innovative and humane leadership. Big multinational that had presence across continents

      Cons

      sometimes a tad bit slow . wasnt able to match up with asian competition in form of Sony, LG, Samsung in AV business though lighting is still doing great

      Good company to work for, difficult transition time. Currently very risky best to wait for the dust to settle.

      Empowered employees. Given direction, but allowed to go get the job done. Generally strong managers who are logical and reasonable.

      Cons

      Difficult transition time for Philips Lighting. Hyper focus on cost and constant restructuring. Good for the company long term, but unpleasant for employees.

      Good pay, excellent benefit offerings, flexible scheduling with the ability to work from home in almost all positions, opportunities for advancement if you apply yourself.

      Cons

      The commute to the office when required to go in, management can be "cliquey" depending on the department you work in.
