      Good work life balance Vivid environment - frequent transformations and reorganizations

      Cons

      Capabilities/ skills of people in senior management roles People development strongly underestimated (you need to bring it from outside rather than count on developing yourself in the company) Approach to annual performance reviews- avg bonus for above-average performance = < 0,5-1% o annual salary It is much more difficult to find a job outside the company than change it internally

      Bad place to work if you have or want to start a family.

      Pros

      The corporate campus location is close to my house so my commute is minutes vs hours when working in Boston at another company.

      Cons

      At the Philips corporate office, managers expect/demand employees to work at night and on weekends. There is no real work-life balance at this company. All the layoffs have resulted in way too much work for those left at the company. Such a shame as I thought this was my "forever" job.

      Big conglomerate. Many opportunities for growth. Cares for its people. Work life balance.

      Cons

      Too slow to make decisions. No one culture. HR not professional. Poor performance not dealt properly while strong performance not rewarded.
