Pros

This is a great hospital to work or even volunteer at. They really go out of the way to treat kids with the most amazing kindness and respect. All employees really get along great. It is a wonderful hospital that does amazing things for children.

Cons

It is a very cliquey place to work at. I get you will have cliques where ever you go but there seems to be some drama at times between management and the employees. It also seems as if the hospital is often more focused about getting money instead of advocating for children and families.

Pros

Everyone is passionate about helping sick or injured children. The nice new building is great if you actually work in that one.

Cons

Overworked, underpaid, have had years without raises. There's no transparency and if you aren't in a position of power, you are pretty much just a workhorse. Technology is way behind, no EHR, everyone works in a silo and employee satisfaction is lower than average. Although the new building is pretty, it's not child-friendly. Honestly have never worked with more petty people in my life.
