Pros

Loved being the best part of my client's day Got to make a real difference in people's lives People in the office were nice & accommodating if I didn't jive with a client

Cons

Low pay ($11) Was too restricted as to what I could do to help clients if it wasn't on the care plan I get that the care plan is sometimes decided by a social worker but sometimes the clients need more help than what the care plan dictates (like feeding a client some food) & it felt terrible to not be allowed to do that simple task (I just stayed after hours and fed them anyway even though I wasn't getting paid for it because, ya know, DECENCY).
