Phorest Salon Software is a great place to work if you are looking for a relaxed office environment. There is always music playing, the dress code errs on the side of casual and breaks are taken at your own discretion. As a full-time student, this freedom was welcome and refreshing. The open-book management is reassuring and I was given multiple opportunities to speak with the CEO, this was something I was unable to do during my other internships. I was also given the opportunity to do two different personality tests and both were scarily accurate and helped me learn more about myself. Overall it's very exciting to be a part of a modern, growing company.

Everyone works together to reach common goals. There is no hierarchy and everyone is treated as equals. Phorest really embraces the team to test new ideas and think of new creative ways that make them different to any competition. Monthly company meetings enable you to have a full visual on the direction of the company and really enables people to contribute to making a difference. The culture is fantastic and everyone is welcoming. There are no cliques that some companies have, everyone just gets along, which is always nice to come into work with. I don't believe I have ever had an opportunity like this that enables me to really see that I am a part of something that I can make a real impact on.
