Photon has a toxic work culture where HR is not only aggressive but also operates with questionable work ethics, showing little to no regard for employees' well-being or career growth. The company only cares about profits, making arbitrary decisions that benefit them financially while disregarding fairness and transparency. There’s no real investment in development, feedback is nonexistent, and policies are inconsistently applied. Employees are treated as disposable, and any concerns raised are either ignored or met with hostility. If you're looking for a place that values people, this is not it.

If you’re on a visa, double-check everything — communication is vague, inconsistent, and sometimes just wrong. Salary range in NYC is an absolute joke. Don’t even want to get into work-life balance — it’s mostly survival mode, and boundaries are rarely respected. Culture looks good on paper, but is nothing like what’s experienced day-to-day. Expect zero clarity on onboarding, client assignments, or even your own immigration paperwork. Leadership is reactive, not accountable — and you’ll feel that almost immediately.
