Pros

It's great to be given the opportunity to work on various technologies. Good for young workers who want to learn new technologies like iOS, android and windows. Good growth prospects for high performers.

Cons

If you like sitting in one role then you might get irritated with the role flexibility. There is serious lack of employee facilities like coffee machines, recreational areas, etc. If you don’t like a fast paced, growth oriented environment and prefer a chilled out job don’t join Photon.

Pros

Photon took me in, they put everything that I know to the test, I like a place that will test everything that you have first and then take you in with open arms. They trusted me and I am reaping all the benefits. Good part, is working on latest mobile technologies and hardworking coworkers.

Cons

There will always be some space for improvements and I would love to suggest some more space for the recreational room and getting coffee vending machines.

Pros

The folks on the ground in the US are outstanding, including working with clients and interacting with each other. There's a sense of camaraderie and purpose when it comes to these folks.

Cons

Fundamentally, this is a horrific company when it comes to a variety of things. Pay is significantly below market standards. The benefit package is extremely basic (medical, dental, vision). They've just launched a 401(k), but without a match. You receive a bank of PTO days to be used for *all* purposes: vacation, sick, bereavement, with no ability to take unearned PTO. The main office in India have horrible communication skills, and have less of a priority than is necessary. They still consider themselves a start-up, despite being in business for over fours. Absolutely no flexibility when it comes to working from home and the like. Promotions/reviews use the abhorrent stack ranking system, encouraging back-biting and attacking other coworkers
