Pros

The folks I work with are alright

Cons

90% of job. I've been there 2 years and my pay is a pitiful $14.50 an hour. The way they treat their employees is spot on profit before people. Only department managers receive a nice bonus twice a year... off regular employees backs. Don't accept a lead position as they have more work than managers work random shifts closing, opening, mid (based on dept. Managers scheduling which is a simple 6-2 whatever days they write in, so you may get a close leaving around 930/10pm and returning at 6a.m) favoritism is noticeable and they only allow 1 manager per department. Our deli runs 7 days a week with 6a.m-9p.m being scheduled hours.... we have 4 yes FOUR employees to cover that. Always in the weeds and great customer service expected... universe forbid 1 of the four of us want our vacation etc. The store managers will send you home if you're at 40 hours. Worst part the corporate folks come through (somehow store managers know in advance) and will send numerous people from other departments to make the store look perfect... absolute joke! I start a new job in 6 days. $2.25 more and hour plus profit sharing and review for increase.

Pros

Time goes quickly. Co-workers were helpful.

Cons

Overworked and understaffed. Too much to complete in a shift due to lack of staff. Low pay.
