Not good for guys

Pros

You get to work with people nearby, and if you're doing part time for school, you work with plenty of people you know. During cashiering, it's really nice to talk to all sorts of people

Cons

If you're a courtesy clerk/bagger or cashier, if you're a guy, they'll make you push carts for probably half your shift every week somehow. You make basically minimum wage for doing tiresome work while cashiers that don't push carts make a whole dollar higher than you for greeting customers and scanning stuff

Pros

The comradery between fellow employees was great

Cons

The pay was only 15 cents above minimum wage when I started working there. The amount of work you have to put in is absolutely brutal for that pay, I'd rather bail hay.

Pros

Good people to work with, flexible hours (unless you are a lead. Then you can’t request days off that you might need), medical/dental/vision insurance was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME

Cons

Very understaffed. If I had to call out I had no replacement and I would be very behind with no one to help me get caught up. Pray you don’t get really sick or injured. Management doesn’t care about their employees and treats them all like robots. Management changes so often it’s ridiculous. It was getting annoying that every time I had to explain to a manager about my disability and the accommodation for it, they left and I had to do it all over again. Constant problems with that. Not all disabilities got accommodated for. Some of them don’t know how to discipline employees at all. No organization/communication due to lack of employees. If you’re a hard worker at your position, expect to do many other positions with no raise to compensate for it. I could comfortably (not fully) operate all departments except produce and meat.
