Pros

At my store and some others, the lack of discipline leaves open the opportunity to socialize with coworkers. It is a very easy going atmosphere because of it.

Cons

There is no solid discipline. People can not show up for work and only receive a slap on the wrist. The few people with a work ethic do all the work while watching the others converse. Apart from that, Roundy's has no idea what they're doing. Their ideas to cut cost and increase costumer service are so far off base and not even feasible. It is obvious that corporate is unaware of how their own stores are really run in the field.

Pros

The only reason I enjoy working at Pick N Save is because of what we get away with and the social environment because of it.

Cons

Roundy's and Pick N Save doesn't care for or respect it's hourly employees in the least. Raises are given on a scheduled basis and not at all on merit. I have worked there as on of the better front end employees for 2 years and my pay has raised from minimum wage ($7.25) to $7.60 per hour.
