Pros

The close friendships you can accidently make , the atmosphere is friendly, during the summer and holidays we host small events within our store which makes it fun to work there and a comfortable predictable environment.

Cons

Pretty difficult to move up salary wise if wanting to switch to different departments or job duty. Some days are really good some days are bad depending on coworkers temperament on whatever given day.

Cons

Trying to get promoted involves a lot of politicking. When the store is busy you are really swamped with customers and frequently have no one to help you out.
