Nice, hard working co-workers. Always something to do. Lots of friendly customers. Approachable management team. Room to move up. Part of a union.

Cons

Can be easily overlooked if you are not out working directly with the customers. Very low starting pay, even with experience. Part of a union.

-Flexible hours/scheduling. -Stores are fairly clean. -You work with a lot of different people. -If you work hard you can move up...but it won't get you much more.

Cons

-Low pay. -Never felt a real appreciation for my work. -Childish "games" used as incentive to create better work ethic for their employees...they never work.

It is exciting to be the manager of the department. Managing my team is fun. Roundy's provides all management with tools and data to help the reduce losses and help with pushing sales.

Cons

A lot is expected from the managers with very tight labor budgets. You are expected to work every weekend and most Holidays.
