Can't Pie Me Love

Pros

-Culture is dead to cut on costs. This is great if you don't want a salary increase, bonus payout, monopoly money equity or opportunities to grow your career -Rolling layoffs by department or enough hostility in your department that you'll leave on your own so they save on severance -Ability to work with contractors that have no clue what's going on and/or are likely breaching co-employment laws

Cons

-not enough CFOs or executives with super expensive salaries and bonus targets -not enough retaliation after hearing the truth

Pros

Being able to work remotely.

Cons

Pie management decided to come up with the "bright idea" of combining the Customer Service, Billing and Audit Department which has made it much worse for the service agents that have to do the triple the work with the same amount of compensation and mediocre training. Audit and Billing have months of backlog and people are waiting on hold for hours due to management's bad decisions and lack of action. Insureds are starting to cancel policies and agents are writing elsewhere because Pie is just dropping the ball every time. Employees are starting to check out and look elsewhere because no one is going to put up with these conditions for long and they are going to be scrambling when service agents start the quit in the upcoming months. Management says they want our feedback but don't do anything about it. Pie is lucky that the Great Place to Work survey was submitted in May before most of these changes occurred. They will lose it in 2025 if they don't start making changes now.
