      Decent pay, corporate is pretty awesome and they're attempting to be employed oriented now, never boring

      Cons

      Lack of opportunity, job itself can be super repetitive, scheduled hours cut to the point of running a skeleton crew at times, which really upsets guests and employees, stressful

      Fast Paced, Fun, A New Learning Experience Around Every Corner, Growth Within The Company!

      Pros

      Potential for growth within the company. They gave me a chance when I did not have the work experience to back up my skills. The company is always changing, brining in new ideas and are open to the suggestions you have. I don't feel like I am unimportant to the company, they make me feel like I can make a difference, not only to the customers who come through but also with the company. I have learnt a lot of life and business lessons since I have been with Flying J, they are always willing to teach you when you don't know something or don't understand a certain portion of the business.

      Cons

      Wage, but who doesn't want more now and then. Long hours, and filled with actual work (not that that is necessarily a con as I like to work but some could see it as a con because they do expect a lot from you). Not the best balance for work family life, difficult but not impossible Insufficient Training for Managerial Staff, from Team Leads and up to GMs
