* The salary is low-ball compared to market rate, and that was after I negotiated them up from the initial offer.
* The software and workflows are previous generation and therefore years behind the competition. As a result, some very clever and intelligent people are forced to work harder, not smarter. The workflows also tend to promote development of carpal tunnel due lots and lots of clicking for things that are solved in software by other service companies.
* My office is far away from the rest of the Halliburton facilities and from client offices in the area, so there is minimal chance for interaction and collaboration. I have yet to meet or interact with a client, which is not ideal for furthering my career, or for even doing excellent work in my position.
* Being located in the suburbs is a real bummer unless you've got a family and care about the schools or lots of land.
