Pros

The salary and benefits seemed fair

Cons

Racism, discrimination, retaliation, and dishonesty drive the culture. No career advancement. People sit in the same roles for a long time like a sad government job.

Toxic like every other Tech Company

Pros

There are mostly kind people (outside of upper management), just trying to make a living. The benefits and salary are on par with most tech companies.

Cons

- Constant chaos and zero respect for anyone's time or mental health. - Meetings, Meetings, Meetings and then more meetings about meetings. - Everyone is constantly talking about "burn out" and nothing actually changes. - You are expected to work constantly and to be available 24/7 (even if they won't say that for legal reasons) and you are punished when you actually have boundaries around your work and life and when you actually try to take any PTO. - Toxic leadership remains in place despite their terrible reputations and negative impact on hard workers.

Toxic!

Pros

nothing. All good is gone since the new investor took over and that incompetent kid with the beard being in charge.

Cons

Where should i start? Micromanaging at its finest. C-level wants to manage employees out (= bully people out), just so they wouldn’t need to pay any severance plan. Management lies, treat smart and hard working employees like children, constantly demotivates, which leads to more fear and anger. Who wants to work like this? But yes, that is exactly the managements plan. How can these people sleep at night, how is it ok to treat people like this? And how on earth can you be so shortsighted believing that this will save Pinterest? It is a sinking ship. Very very sad, because it has nothing to do anymore with the ’kind’ company Pinterest once was.
