      A solid company with a lot of talent

      Pros

      Lots of talented people. Interesting subject matter. Management recognizes and rewards talent. Coworkers genuinely care about you - joining Pioneer is like joining a big family. Less than 40 hour weeks.

      Cons

      Typical corporate nonsense. Bureaucracy. Internal-only departments put very little emphasis on end user experience.

      Multiple Tech stacks to work with

      Pros

      There are some really good people working here. You can have opportunities to use a number of different development technology stacks.

      Cons

      DuPont has slowly transformed Pioneer into less than what it was. For instance changed insurance to all east coast providers which are not all accepted in the Midwest. This leads to excessive paperwork and less benefits. Neither my Dentist or Eye doctor accept those insurance policies. Pioneer was always a big company with a small feel and everyone knew your name. But now it feels more like a hog confinement, people just jammed into cubes and you hardly know anyone.
