Great Environment, but I wish the pay was more competitive

Pros

The environment is great. They maintain all work models (in-person, remote, and hybrid) so finding a suitable schedule isn't difficult. Employees can take one free course per semester. Extremely helpful if you'd like to pursue an undergrad or graduate degree. The TIAA retirement fund is structured very well.

Cons

Pay isn't as competitive and doesn't match up well with the same positions across different industries. It's not horrible but the school is in California so it's not the best for keeping up with inflation and expensive quality of life. Pay is bi-weekly so budgeting will be crucial.
