Pros

Remote, Not outbound/inbound calling, zoom meetings, not so many busy days.

Cons

Honestly working here for the past couple months have been chaotic, you get little training and sometimes it feels like it’s not enough. Like being thrown into the pool not knowing how to swim. It’s like you go into this blindly and they expect you to get it day 3…anyways it’s a remote job so can’t complain. However, the training and management is not good, think they need to highly improve. And have enough trainers for those who need to be trained. Also when you ask for help you probably won’t even get a response back until the project is due :(. It’s not worth it. Find something else.

Pros

This company is in a niche benefits technology space and is expanding at a very rapid place, meaning that there is plenty of opportunity and growth available. The company offers a great benefits and wellness packages, and create a healthy work-life balance for those employees with children or employees who don’t live close to a PlanSource office. This company has nowhere to go but up.

Cons

Organizational hierarchy and structure within the company still need to be ironed out. The company was officially founded less than 7 years ago through a series of mergers and acquisitions, so there are some growing pains associated with a company growing as fast as this one. Simple things, such as performance based raises for employees are strong workforce retention tools that the company should take the time to create an efficient process for. Pay scale would be another thing I would suggest the company to reconsider. Although I have only been here less than a year, I’ve seen plenty of talented employees due to discrepancies in pay between what other companies in this business verticals are paying compared to plansource.
