Pros

- Thoughtful onboarding with a clear structure and resources; ramp-up felt intentional. - My manager models healthy work-life balance (sets expectations for delayed responses, takes family time) and genuinely respects time off. Wellness days each month, where the whole company actually shuts down, plus a full company closure between Christmas and New Year’s. Slack goes quiet, and it’s truly honored. - Leaders I work with have a growth mindset; I’m treated with respect, and my expertise is taken seriously. - When I’ve raised concerns, I’ve consistently seen quick, meaningful follow-through and resolution. - Compensation is strong compared to offers I had elsewhere, and the benefits package adds real value: Carrot fertiility benefits have offset the cost of two rounds of IVF, a $65 monthly wellness stipend reduces the cost of my haircuts, and there's a generous home office stipend when you start. Combined with the extra company holidays, it’s a compelling total package. (I use my partner’s health insurance, so can’t speak to the company health plan directly.)

Cons

- As a one-of-one role, access to the right systems took time; I was initially left off some key announcements and meetings and my leader didn't have enough expertise to set me on the right track to get help. You have to be a bit independent in many roles so it takes a certain personality. - Legacy tech from pre-Mindbody/ClassPass merge could use modernization; Dayforce in particular feels overdue for investment. Using it for performance reviews and payroll forms is like accessing the 1990s. - We use Microsoft Office and Outlook, which have been glitchy and are the only part of my day that consistently frustrates me.
