Lack of Internal Advancement Opportunities

Pros

- Very nice people to work with - Hybrid Schedule - Good benefits

Cons

- Leadership is horrible outside of the finance organization. They do not understand what employees want and do not care to listen - Almost no opportunity for advancement even when they are in dire need. They would rather find a new worker than promote internally - Executives get paid a lot to come in and leave within a few years, leaving things worse than before. Leadership needs to be changed entirely - Favoritism runs rampant

Pros

* Great products that actually do work and taste good. * Weekly cash drawings for all non Sr. Leadership staff (Director and above) * Bonuses for the most part were equally properly distributed. * Facilities team was great, friendly and outgoing. * Well engaged in the local community and happenings. * WFH to in-office was fairly well balanced. * Not all leaders were bad people some actually wanted to make positive change but got overruled. * Regularly paid lunches and quarterly profit sharing/bonuses. * Loved working there in the beginning but the last 6 months is when their score went from a 5 star to a 1 star.

Cons

* IT Operations Manager had a serious egotistic attitude and will terminate anyone (or if they don't report to him he will severally poison their advancement opportunities) who challenges his decisions or thought process. * Promotion of undeserved people while bypassing those that actually did the work. * Security Director was woefully inadequate in experience and backing education to lead a team of high performing individuals. * Far to reliant on offshore staff and development. * Refusal to properly secure the environment even if it meant protection customer data and systems. * Far too many backroom tech decisions were made without any input from those that it affected. * Far too much of "saying one thing, but doing the complete opposite" activity. * Conflict of interest between security, and operations. * CTO just sat in his office, and rarely came out to interact with any of the teams.
