As a company that’s “founded in gut health” and “experts in microbiome” Plexus should know that when bad bugs take over, your overall health is thrown off track. A few years ago, this was a great company. Now, bad bugs are in charge and toxic and/or inept leadership has overrun the whole organization. Most of the good people have left, are leaving, or have been pushed out for advocating for the people on their teams. Plexus executives operate in constant panic-mode, scrambling from one “strategy” and re-org to another, making excuse after excuse for themselves while preaching accountability to everyone else. Sales and marketing departments were reorganized 4 times in 2023, with people moved around like pieces on a game board. The last re-org was drawn up by an interim CMO, then reversed by the CEO a week later due to disagreements. It would be funny if it weren’t peoples’ actual careers being impacted by these asinine decisions. Meanwhile, employees are questioned why they lack trust in the company’s leaders. Unless you work in finance and can work for Jack Spitzer, I’d steer clear of this company for the sake of your own health and happiness.
