Pros

Unlimited Vacation. My team is amazing.

Cons

Pretty much everything is a con. Vista has ruined this company. I can’t even see a way out of this mess of a company. We are operating on a skeleton crew. Product has been destroyed. Everything you touch is broken. We can’t service our customers. Leadership is trying to put lipstick on this pig, but we aren’t stupid and we see right through it. CSM’s are held accountable, but other departments aren’t. I’m so sad for our customers and employees who really try. I vacillate between trying to help and just throwing my hands up in the air. With the economy and Vista, I’m not sure Pluralsight will be in business in a year.

Pros

Great Benefits! Pay is great! Work Life Balance is great! The Pluralsight product is definitely worth getting behind and supporting. It does make a difference. There is some room for growth. There are some managers who truly believe in your growth and will support you throughout your tenure. I have had the opportunity to have 3 different positions during my time at Pluralsight.

Cons

Diversity is scarce. Although I have known for a while that there were a lack of brown faces within the company, watching the RKO event proved my point. The company supports every known holiday and month supporting diversity but it is not reflected in their hiring practices. The pictures do NOT lie. Do not let those pictures on the website fool you. Go search the people section on LinkedIn.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I’m pleased to hear you enjoyed work-life balance, benefits and pay during your time at Pluralsight and that you believe in our product. We strive to create an equitable and inclusive environment where every team member feels welcome, appreciated, and heard. Our DEIB and people teams have several strategic partnerships in place to help us create the most inclusive environment where people feel they belong. Regarding the December restructure, the timing was certainly not ideal. Because this was a restructure and not just a layoff, we had to implement change across our company in a timely way to meet the needs of the business and our customers. If team members had the applicable skill set, we encouraged them to apply for open roles within Pluralsight. In many cases, we were able to find new roles for impacted team members based on their skills and the requirements associated with the role. We apologize if you feel there were missteps in our communications or actions during this time. - Will

Pros

Great product that can really help people change their path.

Cons

Leadership went from being transparent to making decisions from their ivory tower at the cost of employees. Vista has stripped all of the reasons to stay here and Pluralsight leadership goes along with it. The changes that have been made in the last year have made for a very poor customer experience as well as a poor employee experience. There are so many better options out there now.

Thank you for providing this review. There has indeed been some change over the past year. Though we are now a Vista company, I assure you the Pluralsight leadership team is still driving our company decisions. And as a leadership team we strive to be as transparent as we can with our decision making. I’m always open to feedback and if there is a specific aspect of the team member or customer experience that you would like to discuss, my door is always open. - Will
