Supportive colleagues, poor strategy

Pros

Great colleagues: supportive, smart, and enjoyable to work with. Unlimited PTO is a strong benefit. Access to the Pluralsight platform makes upskilling easy and directly supports personal growth. Direct manager is capable, engaged, and improving quickly in the role.

Cons

Frequent and unpredictable layoffs, followed by new hiring, create confusion and instability. Compensation and bonus opportunities are stagnant, with little recognition for performance. Company has been trending downward financially, with multiple C-level changes and little visible progress on a turnaround strategy. Communication is vague and focused on aspirational goals, without clarity on process or execution. Appears that attrition is being used to manage costs, which hurts morale and retention. Employees often feel overlooked or undervalued.
